Listing Description
Monitors prisoner conduct and behaviour to prevent disturbances and escapes. Inspects and maintains security features such as locks, window bars, grilles, doors, and gates
Supervises prisoners during work, recreation, sports, and meal periods. Assists in implementing educational, rehabilitation, and other prisoner programs
Searches prisoners and cells for weapons, drugs, and contraband. Patrols assigned areas and reports breaches of rules, behavioural issues, and adjustment problems
Requisitions prisoners’ clothing, toiletries, reading materials, and other permitted items. Oversees prisoner movements between courts, prisons, and other facilities
