Engaging in discussions regarding the anaesthetic procedure with patients and securing their informed consent prior to surgical intervention. Administering local, regional, and general anaesthetics through various techniques, including inhalational and intravenous methods
Overseeing the transfer of patients to operating rooms, ensuring proper positioning on surgical tables, maintaining patient warmth, and responding swiftly and accurately to any arising issues
Monitoring patients during surgical operations and in the immediate post-operative phase
Documenting the specifics of anaesthetic and sedation provided, along with the patients’ conditions before, during, and after anaesthesia
Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to deliver diagnosis and treatment for patients suffering from chronic pain, as well as diagnosing and managing patients in need of intensive care or resuscitation
