Listing Description

Designs, plans, and commissions telecommunications networks and systems, including voice, data, radio, microwave, satellite, and digital technologies.

Develops project proposals by defining scope, objectives, technical requirements, and estimating costs of equipment and services.

Evaluates, selects, and procures telecommunications hardware, software, and vendor services.

Ensures systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and organisational policies.

Determines and configures appropriate hardware and software setups to achieve desired network performance.

Prepares and interprets technical specifications, drawings, and circuit designs for telecommunications equipment.

Identifies and resolves technical issues in existing systems, such as interference, clarity, and reliability problems, to improve communication quality.

Monitors and maintains systems to plan upgrades, preventive maintenance, and future enhancements.

Experience and qualifications required

-A bachelor degree or higher qualification.

-At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualification.
