Listing Description

Develops, designs, and oversees the operation of advanced telecommunications networks and related broadcasting systems.

Planning, designing, and commissioning telecommunications systems, including voice, radio, data, and satellite, ensuring compatibility with various manufacturers and users.

Compiling project proposals to define objectives, scope, and costs for equipment and services.

Evaluating and procuring new products from suppliers while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Selecting new telecommunications sites by identifying locations, preparing documentation, and securing approvals.

Configuring hardware and software for optimal performance and interpreting specifications related to telecommunications equipment.

Analyzing existing systems for issues like interference and clarity to enhance communication.

Monitoring systems for updates and maintenance needs, and evaluating performance to develop strategies for future upgrades and improvements.

 

Experience and qualifications required

A bachelor degree or higher qualification.

At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualification.
